Attache Cases
The word attache is a French word meaning a person with an administrator staff of an ambassador. The attache case derive its name from its use
from these diplomatic officials. An attache case is usually thinner from a regular briefcase and may open into two compartments, that may feature flaps or pockets for transporting papers.
Briefcase
The word brief is often use as a “short duration”. The cases the lawyers use to carry their documents were known as briefcases.
What’s the difference?
In the business world, the two terms most often used synonymously are attache case and briefcase. This leads many people to believe they are the same. But the origins of attache cases and briefcases are different.
